Hi good review of Qlik versus Cognos. Please be aware IBM just released an on-demand version of Cognos Analytics ranging from $15 (Dashboards) – $70 (Dashboards, Data discovery & Reporting) per user per month. This is fresh news as of July so I hope you can update your review.

  3. Tom Fains says:

The interface for Cognos is NOT intuitive. Useful Documentation is not available, especially for end users. Training is hard to find, except for a couple that IBM has available that barely scratches the surface. Definitely save your company the cost and failures and avoid Cognos. Check me on this…. Try finding people that you can hire with Cognos experience verses Qlik, Power BI and Tableau.
