Exploring the Concept
Let’s take a look at some facts about AWS and its philosophies.
Around the year 2000, Amazon was just an e-commerce company struggling with scale problems. And as they say, necessity is the mother of invention. They built some solid internal systems to deal with that hyper growth. This laid a pretty strong foundation for AWS, which today, is a subsidiary of Amazon that delivers on-demand cloud computing platforms on paid subscriptions. Not only does it let subscribers avail a virtual cluster of computers, it makes it available all the time through the Internet.
CEO Andy Jassy has stuck around with Amazon since 1997 and had founded AWS in 2003 with a team of 57 people.
