i. Affiliate

Bounce rate is the term that is used for the visitors who visit the website’s one page and leaves the website without visiting another page. This increases or decreases per the liking of the visitor. One content can be important for some visitors at the same time that content may be of no use for some other visitors. This is an indirect ranking factor.

viii. Broken Links

Broken links refer to error 404. It says website not found. This occurs when the website goes offline or website’s page is not available without redirecting to some other location.

ix. Click Through Rate (CTR)

This is viewed as a percentage at which user click on an organic search result and calculated as a total number of organic clicks divided by with a total number of impressions then multiplying it with 100 to find the percentage.

x. Cloak

It’s a black hat SEO technique in which the content provided to the user to read and submitted to the search engine’s crawler are different.

xi. Code swapping

It’s a technique to change content higher rank is achieved.

xii. Conversion

Achieving a measurable goal in the website such as online sales, sign ups etc.

xiii. Conversion rate

This is the rate at which the website gets desired action from its users. This is calculated as total dividing the total number of conversion with traffic gained and multiplying it with 100.

xiv. Crawler

It’s an automated robotic program that visits your website in order to rank /index it. It is also known as a spider. It crawls all over your website and judges all your content, links, tags etc in order to check its authenticity and to rank your website.
