The state bank of India conducts a different exam to recruit its Probationary Officers. The SBI PO has three stages like the IBPS PO exam. They are the preliminary examinations, mains examinations, and interviews with group discussion.

The extra elements here group discussion that multiple candidates have together. The Bank releases a notification every year which informs candidates about the exam structure of the year.

It is an annual nationwide conducted exam that sees lakhs of applicants every year. The mode for the first two stages is online and has a few months gap between them.

SBI PO Prelims Application and Admit Card

  1. Visit the official website
  2. Click on the NEW REGISTRATION
  3. Fill out basic info like name, contact number, email id, etc.
  4. Upload your documents.
  5. Fill educational information
  6. Accept the terms and condition
  7. Apy the application fees
  8. Submit the application form.

Admit Card allows the candidates to enter the examination center on the exam date. The candidates can download from the official website after filling out the application form. The application fee for the reserved category is Rs125/-. And for the open general category, it is Rs 750/-.

  • The age group between 21 to 30 Years of age can appear for this exam

  • A Tibetan refugee residing in India before 1 January 1962
  • Persons of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or one of the listed East African countries
  • Minimum a graduate from a recognized university

The Bank releases the cut-off for every exam yearly. This is considering the overall performance of the candidates. This for the entire paper and not section-wise. The candidates can check their result on their official website. The category wise cut off for the year 2019 was –
