India Post Payments Bank is a government bank under the Ministry of Communications. It aims to make use of India’s post offices as access points. It provides over 3 lakh postal postman Gramin Dak Sevaks with the house to house banking services.

They offer certain positions in their banks every year. They release the vacancy list annually to get new officers on board. For this purpose, the bank conducts India Post Payments Bank examination. It is an annual exam that is online for the first two stages and face to face interview.

Age Limit

• MMGS-II – 23 to 35 years
• MMGS-III – 26 to 35 years
• SMGS – V – 32 to 50 years
• SMGS – IV – 29 to 50 years

Nationality

• An Indian Citizen
• Candidates can be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan
• A Tibetan refugee residing in India before 1 January 1962
• Persons of Indian Origin migrated from Pakistan, Vietnam, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, or one of the listed East African countries

Education

Chief Technology Officer

• B.Tech or any other degree

Scale I Officer

• A Graduate from a recognized institute.
• Candidates fulfilling minimum education qualification
• Experience in postal services or sales of financial products or rural banking
• Experience as Business Correspondent for banks

Chief Executive Officer & Managing Director

• A Graduate from a recognized institute.
• Preferably having an MBA degree or CAIIB certificate

Scale II-III Officer

• A Graduate from a recognized institute.
• Preferably an MBA or B.Tech. degree

Corporate Roles

• A Graduate from a recognized institute.
• Professional experience in operation/ finance/ banking/ marketing

Scale IV-VI Officer

• A Graduate from a recognized institute.
• Minimum work experience as per guidelines

Scale VII Officers

• You will reach – India Post Payments Bank Current Opening 2020
• Read instructions and click on Apply Online
• Fill the form and upload your documents
• Generated Registration number and pay the application fees
• Download the form for reference.

The application fees for the exam are –

• SC/ST/PWD – Rs 150
• For others – Rs 750

Candidates can submit the form to download the admit card. It usually comes out 10-12 days before the exam. The interview call letter also comes on their website only. You just need to enter your registration number with a password to download it.

IPPB Exam Pattern

• Stage 1 is the Preliminary Exam that is an Online Objective Test
• Stage 2 is the Main Exam that is an Online Objective Test again
• Next is a Personal Interview that is face to face.
• 0.25 marks are deducted for every incorrect answer.
• The medium of the paper is both in English and Hindi language.
