We’ve all seen them: those folks who are so cloak-and-dagger and skilled at it that they may be guarding the most closely-kept secrets on earth. Now admit it—you have a tiny bit of jealousy for them.
This post includes a few tactics that will make everyone wonder if your name is truly what you claim it to be, along with all the necessary steps.
- Your secret should never be documented or written anywhere
Many people have the habit of writing down their secrets in diaries or even blogs. The risk is that someone might read it while you’re not around. If you must confess it, do it in front of a trusted confidante; but, never put it in writing.

- Use hazy language
Try to avoid answering questions when someone asks you. If you can’t avoid it, respond to it, but avoid providing specifics. Then abruptly shift the topic.
- Say less. Consider more
I realize that this should be obvious, but I am aware of how difficult it may be to restrain wagging tongues. So the first few days of this changeover, it’s best to tape your mouth with duct tape. Whenever possible, use murmurs to communicate.
- You should never be surprised by anything! Be as CUCUMBER COOL!
Be extremely restrained in both your verbal and nonverbal replies or responses—almost to the point of lassitude. People can typically tell a lot about a person by watching how she or he reacts to comments or actions from others. People will find it very difficult to understand you if you are cool about everything that is said to you or that is done to you.

- Avoid becoming overly sentimental or sensitive
In my opinion, being both secretive and sensitive at the same time is really challenging. These are poor character traits since they indicate that you will reveal information in order to gain the approval or support of others. Therefore, restrain your emotions, facial gestures, and most importantly, your eyes! You must be aware that eyes are both windows to the outside world and windows into your own reality. Give contrasting looks sometimes serious, sometimes laid-back but not a lot will alter.
- Additionally, try not to stare at anything for too long
You appear anxious, which by nature leads people to believe that you are concealing something.
- Avoid posting everything on Social Media
Social media is ingrained in both everyday life and business. The majority of us devote hours, if not more, to it each week. We use social media to enjoy ourselves, interact with others, and gather news and information. But there are occasions when social media may really mess us up. It’s crucial to use social media wisely. There are some things you should never share and some circumstances where it’s smart to keep your profiles quiet.
- Be secretive at the workplace
The importance of human relationships cannot be understated, regardless of the type of business. However, one should always try to avoid telling coworkers everything or being over-friendly at work. There should be boundaries between work and private life.
