What is the full form of COO?

COO stands for Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for a corporation’s day-to-day administration and running. He has to directly report to the CEO and is the right-hand man of the CEO. In some companies, he is also the Executive Vice President of Operations. The COO helps the CEO monitor and ensure daily operations in the company and keeps the CEO connected.

Eligibility criteria for COO

  • Degree in business administration (MBA) or related sector.
  • High management skills and leadership
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills
