What is the full form of TGT?

TGT stands for Trained Graduate Teacher and describes a teacher who has completed his/her teaching training. It is a graduate who has trained in teacher education and has a B.Ed degree.

Eligibility criteria for TGT

TGT teachers can teach students in class 10th or lower. Eligibility criteria for TGT:

  1. A graduate degree from a recognized board in order to apply for the TGT entry examination A.
  2. The maximum age limit for a trained TGT teacher is 35 years.
  3. A Postgraduate Trained Teacher has a postgraduate degree and TGT and teaches classes above 10th class in school.
