Central Teacher Eligibility Test is a national level exam to select suitable teachers for central government schools all across India. The Central Board of Secondary Education is responsible for conducting this exam across different centers distributed in all 29 states.
The applicants can take this exam in twenty different languages according to their preference. Around thirty lakhs candidates appear for this exam every year and the number is going up with time.
