New Online Certification Course on Data Science and Machine Learning Launched by IIT Delhi

IIT Delhi has invited applications for a six-month online course on Data Science and Machine Learning, from graduates, as well as professionals.

Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, has started a 6-month certification online course on Data Science and Machine Learning.

Professionals and graduation applicants can enroll themselves for this Continuing Education Programme (CEP).

This opportunity of learning major tools and techniques of Data Science and Machine learning can be explored by Early- vocation experts and mid-level managers.

Minimum 70 % attendance is necessary and the participants will get a certificate when their scores are 50% or above.

The Online sessions starting from 27 March 2021 will be conducted every Sunday for a period of 3 hours.

Subject matter specialists from IIT Delhi such as Assistant Professor Dr. Hariprasad Kodamana, Assistant professor Dr. Manojkumar Ramteke- Department of Chemical Engineering, and Assistant Professor Dr. Agam Gupta – Department of Management Studies, will be conducting the online classes.

Course Module for this Data Science and Machine Learning course

The course is intended to confer the information to the members utilizing the time series data forecasting models, neural networks, and a few involved, hands-on experience in the Machine Learning algorithms.

Some of the topics that will be covered in the online course:

• Data Science essentials that covers basics of python and mathematics
• Optimization for machine learning that covers gradient, search based optimisation, integer programme like linear, quadratic etc
• Statistics for data science that covers Distributions, Estimation, hypothesis testing etc
• Communicating data and analysis
• Machine learning and deep learning that covers Regression, SVM, CNN, LSTM Networks etc
