The full form of FM is Frequency Modulation. It is a technique of encoding details of a given analogue (digital signal) by changing the frequency of the carrier wave according to the frequency of the modulating signal.
Modulating signal is the message that needs to be transmitted to an electronic signal after modification. The amplitude and amplitude-phase remain constant whereas the carrier frequency signal modifies to the message signal.
