What is the full form of RAC?
RCA stands for Reservation Against Cancellation. Also known as conditional reservation because an individual can receive a confirmed ticket only when a previously confirmed ticket is cancelled. Usually people go for early reservations and even the railway advises that one should reserve tickets 120 days before the travel date. If tickets are withdrawn due to changes in schedule, individuals waiting for RAC can get an opportunity.
