ISNA function is also known as information function. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can utilize the ISNA function along with the IF function test to display a message when the error appears in those cells.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Syntax of Excel ISNA<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">ISNA (value)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Value<\/strong> &#8211; This is an expression where you enter the cell value that needs to be evaluated and tested. IF(ISNA(VLOOKUP(D3,A1:B5,2,FALSE))<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It means if the function doesn&#8217;t find the value of cell D3 in the cells A1:B5 then display the second part.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>2. &#8220;no data available &#8220;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">It instructs the cell to fill with \u2018no data available\u2019. The user can write anything between quotation marks to display it instead of a blank cell.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>3. The formula means that if the function doesn&#8217;t find the value of cell D3 in the table array, then display \u201cno data available\u201d.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><strong>Note<\/strong>: You have to enter the vlookup content twice for IF- ISNA formula to work.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3>Things to Remember:<\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1.
