HTML entities can be used to add HTML symbols to a web-page that are not present on our keyboards. Symbols such as mathematical signs, the currency of different countries, technical symbols, etc. are not present on our normal keyboard. For such elements, entity names and numbers, which can be in the form of decimals and hexadecimals, come handy and useful.<\/p>\n
