When you feel demoralized and tired of life, what motivates you?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Who do you turn to when you need a push to keep you going?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I bet it\u2019s other people.<\/p>\n

People help us make the big changes in our thinking and in the way we spend every day of our lives.<\/p>\n

In my case, my friends helped me by suggesting a powerful mantra that changed my monotonous life and my career path. The mantra was Big Data<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

What made me choose Big Data?<\/h3>\n

I was working with Tata Consultancy Services in IT Operations and Support profile for more than 3 years. While working with the same old routine, I started realizing that I was not learning anything new that adds value to my experiences. Additionally, I was lacking knowledge in the technologies and new trends in the IT Industry. I was really lagging behind from my friends who were working with other profiles and were getting paid more than me.<\/p>\n

Sitting back distorted, I heard from my friends about Big Data and it\u2019s technologies. At the same time, the wallpaper on my screen flashed a quote that really encouraged me. That says~ \u201cDon\u2019t let yesterday take up too much of today.<\/strong>\u201d<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know who said that, but now that helps me every morning focus more on the day that lies ahead and my career.<\/p>\n

So I planned to get trained myself with some new technologies with which I can learn many new things and can boost my career.<\/p>\n

How I started learning Big Data<\/h3>\n

With hustle and bustle, I started researching about Big Data and came to know about Hadoop. The research shows that it is the most required technical skill in the industries these days.<\/p>\n

Hadoop is written in Java, and I was aware of Java basics. Therefore, I finally decided to get trained in Hadoop and Big Data along with my current job.<\/p>\n

Another decision which I had to take was selecting an institute for my training<\/em>. There I came to know from the same friends about DataFlair<\/strong><\/em>, that it is known for its expertise training and Big Data Project.<\/p>\n

Without any delay, I enrolled myself for Big Data and Hadoop course<\/strong><\/em><\/a> in DataFlair. Despite being a fresher in technology, I was clearly understanding each topic with the help of the instructor. DataFlair made each stage very easy and understandable that sooner I started preparing for interviews. No doubt, mock interview sessions were very helpful<\/strong> and the trainer listened and solved all my queries.<\/p>\n

They also assigned Big Data Projects to every candidate to enhance their skills while applying Big Data tools and techniques to complete the project. The instructor was always there to assist the candidates throughout the project.<\/p>\n

Finally, with the help of intellectual training by DataFlair, I was prepared to take part in the interviews.<\/p>\n

My IBM Interview Experience<\/h3>\n

I appeared in an interview from IBM, in which there were overall four rounds in the process. Three technical and one HR. The interview was focused on the questions related to the technologies that I have used in my project and what was my role in that.<\/p>\n

The following are the questions they had asked during the interview:<\/p>\n

Q.1<\/strong> Explain your Hadoop project with the technologies that you have used.<\/p>\n

Q.2<\/strong> What was the size of data you used and cluster size.<\/p>\n

Q.3<\/strong> Differentiate between different ecosystem components in Hadoop.<\/p>\n

Q.4<\/strong> Explain the features of latest Hadoop version.<\/p>\n

My life took a turn after this IBM\u00a0 interview by giving me a happy career.<\/p>\n

Yes yes yes, IBM selected me for the post of Big Data Developer and also offered me a 45% hike in the salary<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Richa's thought about DataFlair<\/h3>\n

A big thanks to DataFlair for helping me learn Big Data and Hadoop in such an effective way. I feel obliged to get trained with the wonderful instructor who always guides the candidates with dedication.<\/p>\n

Advice -<\/h3>\n

So this is my advice to the new candidates that:<\/p>\n

  • Follow each instruction of the instructor.<\/li>\n
  • Complete all assignments and projects on time.<\/li>\n
  • Practice interview questions and discuss them with the trainer.<\/li>\n
  • Be honest and work hard with the trainer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    I would like to conclude by saying that \u2018DataFlair is a perfect guru to learn Big Data technologies from.\u2019<\/strong><\/p>\n
