You can perform certain data modification or alteration functions like deletion (Garbage), addition or fill, column, unwrap, rotate etc.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p align=\"justify\"><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/data-flair.training\/blogs\/qlikview-time-chart-wizard\/\">Do you know what is QlikView Time Chart Wizard?<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<h3 align=\"justify\">Functions of Transformation Wizard in QlikView<\/h3>\n<p>These are QlikView Transformation Wizard\u00a0Functions:<\/p>\n<h4 align=\"justify\">i. Garbage<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">The Garbage tab removes or deletes the unwanted rows and columns from the table. It often happens in the case of HTML documents that they have extra rows and columns which are not of use. The garbage tab has two options, <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>Delete Marked<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">, which deletes the highlighted rows and columns. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>Conditional Delete\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> which deletes the rows based on a conditional criterion. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 align=\"justify\">ii. Fill<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Using the Fill tab, you can fill empty cells or replace the cell values with new values from the same column. It is used when you want to fill the same value from the column in other cells of that column. This can be done using <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>Fill..<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> button given in the fill tab, where you can specify fill conditions and strategize filling of cells. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<h4 align=\"justify\">iii. Column<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">Through the Column tab, you can copy or duplicate the contents of one column to a new column. You can either copy all the cells of a column to a new one or select set of cells. There are two options given in this tab,<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b>New\u2026<\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"> option opens a dialog called Specify cells for new column where you can specify the copy details about the column\u2019s cells. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">The<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\"><b> Label <\/b><\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">option lets you set the label or name of the new column. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h4 align=\"justify\">iv. Unwrap<\/h4>\n<p align=\"justify\"><span style=\"font-family: Arial, serif\"><span style=\"font-size: medium\">From the Unwrap tab, you can unwrap a wrapped table. By a wrapped table it is meant that one half of the table comes on the right of the first half of table contents. The options available in Unwrap column lets you regain the normal\/unwrapped (second half below first half) state.
