Thanks for sharing your query with us, the answer of Q.12 Can we edit the data of RDD, for example, the case conversion? is NO.

Now, you can check the scores, after selecting all the question.

Hi Sir hope you are doing well!! I would like to know about spark programming since I have learnt python-3 for it but in my analysis most of the time I am making use of spark-sql only this is giving me the solution for my use cases so my question to you is for what extent should we have knowledge on programming by using python-3 and how is it being used in spark in other hand we have spark-sql, right now I am focussing on both but doing more SQL so it would be great help for me if you share your knowledge on this by the way we use data frame api( spark-sql,dataframe)

    • DataFlair says:

To handle the structured data you can use Spark SQL, but for unstructured data you need to write programs in Scala / Python / Java. To become a Spark Developer you must be an expert in Spark programming (Scala / Python / Java), Spark SQL and Spark Streaming.

    Dear DataFlair,
to my best understanding, the question #8
Q.8 How many Spark Context can be active per JVM?
    has an answer “it depends”
I could be wrong, but my understanding is that there are cases, when you would want to create an alternate spark context using code of the application, and I just was working through deep dive, although haven’t completed it, yet.
At this moment just expressing doubt. Will extend and confirm this message as time and advance continues.

  5. Henry Park says:

Technically, I believe there are 4 ways to create an RDD.

    1) In code 2) from data source 3) through transformation 4) from a dataframe

UNLESS you are saying 3) and 4) are both transformations.
